Summer Adventure of 2019: Japan (1 of 4)

Our adventure, and the first leg of our trip, started with an 8-hour flight from Honolulu to Narita. We were excited. We planned this for months, and it’s finally happening!

Needless to say, bulk of our trip was paid for by credit card points and miles. Yes. We charge almost everything on our credit cards. And we pay them off right away. This way, we have zero credit card debt, and we’re amassing travel rewards.

Mexico 2019 Adventure

Let’s talk about Mexico City.

I have always been a proponent of planning vacations early. I am talking about six months to a year early. Because of this, you can do months of research before the trip, have more options, and the cost of the trip tends to be cheaper. Way cheaper.

Paris 2018 Review

Ah. Paris. Out of all the places that we have visited, Paris is my all-time favorite. It has that beauty and charm that just captures you.

BF and I went to Paris way back in 2014. It was a love at first sight. I told myself that someday, I’ll go back and see Paris again. And we did!

My BF and I had the privilege of visiting this country recently. And let me tell you, we were blown away. Not just by the beauty of the place, but also the astronomical prices of everything! Switzerland should also be known for its $12 BIG MAC and $9 slice of pizza! YES! It was that expensive.

But with research and budgeting months before the trip, your budget pal and Switzerland got along just fine. 🙂

Lisbon, PORTUGAL 2018 Review

After enjoying the sights of Prague, we flew to one of the oldest cities in Europe: Lisbon, Portugal. In case you missed my Prague review, click here.

We arrived at the Humberto Delgado International Airport at around 9-ish in the morning. We were surprised that we actually didn’t have to go customs. So, we went directly to the taxi lane, and went straight to the Empire Lisbon Hotel, which by the way, is an excellent hotel. It is close to the metros and only fifteen to twenty-minute walk to downtown Lisbon. Aside from that, the hotel offers free breakfast. If you are on a budget, like us, free full breakfast is a great deal.
