Privacy Policy

YourBudgetPal is run by Ceylon Innovations LLC, a New Jersey company ("we"). This policy explains what the YourBudgetPal app and website collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and name from Google or Apple when you sign in, and which one you used.
- What you enter: your pay schedule, pay amounts, bills, spending, food estimate, and time zone.
- Subscription status: whether you have a Pro plan and when it ends. We never see your card details; Apple handles payment.
- Basic service logs: technical records such as errors and request times, used to keep the service running.
We don't connect to your bank. Everything in your budget is what you type in yourself. The bonus paycheck tool on our website runs in your browser and doesn't send us what you enter.
How we use it
We use your information to run the app: to work out your paychecks and bills, keep your account signed in, provide Pro features, respond to you, and fix problems. We don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We share it only with the companies that help run the service, and only for that purpose:
- Amazon Web Services stores your data and runs our servers in the United States.
- Google and Apple handle sign-in.
- Apple and RevenueCat handle subscriptions once they are available in the app.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy will still apply to it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you have an account. When you delete your account, your login and budget data are removed from our live systems right away. Encrypted database backups are kept for up to 7 days before they are overwritten.
Your choices
You can view and change what you've entered in the app at any time. To delete everything, go to Settings, then Delete account. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your information or to request deletion.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and each account can only reach its own records. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
YourBudgetPal isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If a change is significant, we'll let you know in the app.
