Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Ceylon Innovations LLC, a New Jersey company ("we"), about your use of the YourBudgetPal app and website. By using them, you agree to these terms.

Using YourBudgetPal

You need a Google or Apple account to sign in, and you're responsible for what happens under your account. Please don't misuse the service, try to reach other people's data, or interfere with how it runs.

Not financial advice

YourBudgetPal is a planning tool. Paychecks, bonus paychecks, estimates, and amounts left after bills are based on what you enter and may not match what actually happens. They aren't financial, tax, or legal advice. Always check your own pay and bills before relying on them, and we aren't responsible for missed payments, fees, or overdrafts.

Pro subscriptions

The free plan lets you plan up to 3 months ahead. Pro adds up to 3 years of planning and extra features, for $6.99 a month, $29.99 for 6 months, or $49.99 a year, unless a different price is shown when you buy. There is no free trial.

Subscriptions are bought through Apple and renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings. Deleting your YourBudgetPal account doesn't cancel an Apple subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Your data

What you enter stays yours. You let us store and process it so we can run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Our app

YourBudgetPal, including its design and name, belongs to us. We may change or stop features, and we may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if that is greater. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the changes.
